April 12, 2017, passed away at age 94, at home after a brief illness, in the presence of his three children; beloved husband of 67 years to the late Gladys "Becky" (nee Beckett) Canale; cherished father of John B. (Penny) Canale, Elizabeth C. Borek and Ann C. (late Jeffrey) Kozlin; devoted Papa of Kristin Canale Pawlowski, Jessica Scholze, Erin (Gregory) Borek-Bostard, Nicholas Borek and Austin (Jonathan) Mikolin; loving great-Papa of Zachary and Alexis Scholze, Braydon and Tessa Pawlowski and Edith Borek Bostard: dear friend of Anthony Corsi, Donna Janik and Diane Bilowus; special DW of Tina Doherty. The family will be present on Monday, April 17 from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Rd.), where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18 morning at 11:00 AM. Friends invited. Mr. Canale was a personal injury litigation attorney in private practice. In 1993, he merged his firm, Canale, Madden and Burke with Bouvier Law, where he remained as special counsel until the time of his death. Flowers are gratefully declined.
