Swiatowy, Irene M. (nee Grabowski)
October 2, 2018; beloved wife of 63 years to the late Anthony J. Swiatowy, DDS; dearest mother of Susan R. (Craig) Wolf, James W. (JoAnn) Swiatowy, DDS and John A. (Laura) Swiatowy; devoted grandmother of Anthony, Elizabeth, Christina, Anna, Andrew and Ava; great-grandmother of Edward Anthony, Frank Anthony and John Anthony; dear sister of Eleanor Anderson, the late John, Joseph and Walter Grabowski; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a graduate of East High School, Buffalo, NY, a volunteer at Millard Fillmore Hospital for 35 years, a member of the University of Buffalo Women's Club for 30 years, original co-operative member of Tamarack Ski Club, founding member of Pine Meadows Golf Club, Clarence NY, avid bridge player, employed at Buffalo Medical Group as a Medical Technologist, enjoyed traveling with her husband Anthony and friends, gourmet chef, accomplished seamstress, lover of tennis and sailing. The family will be present Friday, October 12th from 4 to 8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner Hopkins Road). Family and friends are invited to assemble Saturday, October 13th at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. at Maple Road to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial.
