November 7, 2017 at age 85. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Krzyzanowski) Filipski; devoted father of Sandra (Klaus) Moratz, Elaine (late Ronald) Doebler and the late Carol (Patrick) Shea; loving "Dziadz" of Rebecca (Adam) Cavender, Leslie (Jason) George, Phillip (Bethany) Doebler, Garrett L., Julia M. and Patrick L. Shea; great-grandfather of William, Ellis and Tatum Cavender; dear brother of the late Thomas (Teresa) Filipski; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 AM from St. John Vianney R.C. Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park. All are asked to assemble at church.
