ADAMCZAK, Max D. of Orchard Park NY
Max passed away on December 18, 2010 one day after his 73rd birthday after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Mary (nee McNulty) Adamczak; the dearest father of Joyce A. (John) Kessler and James J. (Bonny) Adamczak; loving grandfather of Joelle, Jenna, and Jillian Kessler; Logan, and Justin Adamczak; brother of Delphine (Walter) Rudnick. Max is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was a proud but modest Firefighter for the City of Buffalo, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and he loved playing golf. He was a member of the Retired Buffalo Firefighters Union. Max was a soft-spoken gentleman - a gentle man. He was a hard worker - a do-it-yourselfer always working on a project. Most of all he was a loving and devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a proud and doting grandfather. He will be terribly missed. The family will be present on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Quinn Southtowns Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME INC. 6170 West Quaker Street (Rt. 20A) in Orchard Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 AM at St. Bernadette's Church. Friends invited. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired memorials may be made to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation C/O Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Share your condolences at
