Following her retirement she maintain working part time with those less fortunate, as a life skills and home healthcare training provider.

She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall on Kenmore Avenue in Buffalo, NY and attended services until she was not physically able to do so. She loved good food, fruit and snacks; and her source of pride was her family. She had the type of Spirit that could light up a room, and those that knew her loved to be in her presence.
